Our home improvement projects are finally finished! Now hopefully I can spend more time working on my quilt. I've got all the rows in order and about half of them sewn now so if I'd just sit down for more than 10 minutes at a time I'd have it done.
I did finish reading Gone With the Wind and I was quite distressed at the end because I had no idea how it would end and it wasn't what I expected. It was a bit traumatic. It was a good read though.

It is hard to tell what the carpet looks like from the picture, but believe me it is a million times better than the old. We also put the laminate flooring in front of the stairs because carpet in that area gets so traffic worn and stained.

Your flooring looks fantastic! I bet you're so relieved that it's all finished.
I was very distressed at the ending of "Gone with the Wind" too. People were laughing at me because I didn't know how it ended. I suppose it ended the way it should have though. Scarlett wasn't a nice girl!
