Weekend Summary

I decided to start posting every weekend to summarize things. A lot of it will be boring I'm sure,,, especially since we are about to start into our garden/yard work phase but I want to be able to look back at what we were up to.

This weekend we started by putting one of the bunk beds together for Sari. She loves it and I love it because now I can lay next to her to read her a story. Actually she won't let me read her stories lately, , Scott and I have to come up with a story from our childhood every night to tell her. I'm really running out of stories.

Saturday morning there was a ward garden class review. I went over the drip system for gardens. Exciting, I know. Scott ran 5 miles and sprayed our fruit trees. When I got home we went to Fuddruckers. It was pretty good and the girls have been SUPER good at restaurants lately. I think it is a sign we've been going out too much. I also have been CRAVING Einstein Bagels almond butter smear so we got that and some bagels for later, which we actually ate for dinner. When we got home we pulled out the old trampoline from the crawl space and put it together. It turned into a looong project because the mat was really oxidized and making everything black. We scrubbed it with dish soap, , it didn't work. Then we used wheel cleaner and wiped it off with a towel then rinsed it and it did seem to work. It just took FOREVER. The kids jumped on the trampoline for hours afterwards while Scott and I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen. I know, I told you, exciting right?!

And just for some visual entertainment here are the crazy kids:

My kids force us to do the childhood stories as well. I have convinced them that stories from Dad's mission are the best and then I quietly leave him to come up with something.

Your girls are getting so big. So I noticed your baby ticker; how far along are you? I'm expecting number 4 11/10/09. I think I might be crazy.
