Christmas

Christmas morning was really fun with the kids. Sari came into our room a little before 7am and we told her it was WAAAYY too early to get up yet. Luckily she can't tell time yet and let us sleep another hour. I heard her telling Kate what Santa had left her before they had gone downstairs, so apparently she went downstairs to have a peek. After she said she sat on her bed holding her bear staring at Kate. I can't believe she lasted an hour doing that. Leah was pretty cute on Christmas morning and got excited about all her new things.
Sadly, about 11am Sari started complaining that her stomach hurt. She went and crawled into bed and stayed there. I went to check on her and take her temperature. She had a fever of 102 degrees. It was so sad, she felt so terrible. She and Scott stayed home while Kate and I went and had lunch at my mom's. While I was there, I called around trying to find an on call pediatrician or Instacare that was open on Christmas Day. I finally found an Instacare in Provo that would be open 5pm-9pm. When Kate and I got home from my mom's, Sari was asleep under the Christmas tree. Scott took Sari to the doctor and found out she had Strep Throat. He went to Walgreens in Provo to fill the prescription, which took forever since it was the only pharmacy open in Utah County. The Instacare had refreshments and they gave Sari a fleece blanket. Refreshments at a doctors office? Not too appetizing, but the blanket was nice.

Leah's favorite Christmas presents. She plays with them CONSTANTLY.
