I decided to try and keep the kids busy with some fun outings in an attempt to keep them from arguing the entire week. On Monday, we walked to the park and they played for a while. Sari is very helpful with Leah and will follow her around for me. Tuesday, I braved Monkey Island - it was SO crowded. Wednesday, we went swimming with the Mercers and Jacksons and Sari slid down the big slide herself, and Friday we went to the zoo with the Miskins. The only place I took any pictures of was the zoo, so here are some of those:
Sari said she liked the monkeys best. Kate liked the tigers and elephants. Leah became quite good at saying "monkey." I think Sari really liked the carousel and train rides the best. When we got home from the zoo and Kate was telling Scott about it, she told him she didn't like the zoo because, "Mommy wouldn't let me eat." She wanted lunch at 11am and we didn't eat till noon when we were in a convenient place and she did not appreciate the wait. She is definitely our most dramatic child right now.
