Parade, Party, and Performance

Our ward made a float for the Lehi Roundup mini parade this year. Kate got to ride on the float and Sari rode her scooter behind it. I knew as soon as the parade was over, Sari would say she hated it and sure enough those were the first words that came out of her mouth. She said it was too hot and too far to walk. She's a funny girl. When the float came by I wasn't ready for it so I didn't get a good picture. The picture below I took when we went to pick them up at the end of the parade. We were on the wrong side of the street, so the only picture I got was one of the back of Kate's head. She got to blow bubbles during the parade.

Yesterday we went to Haylee's birthday party. Haylee is my cousin's little girl so that would make her my kids 2nd cousin? There was an awesome balloon man there and the girls got Rapunzel, a chicken, and Tinkerbell made for them.

Last night Scott had a performance at the American Fork amphitheater with his quartet group, Crescendo. They did a good job. He spends a lot of time singing with them. They have performances the 15th, 16th, and 24th of July too. It makes me a little nervous to know we'll have our baby here by then and he'll be going to do those things, but hopefully the kids and I all adjust well.

Wow-those are some very cool balloon figures! Bella wouldn't even consider going on the float-she professed her hatred of the idea without even trying.
