Field Trip, False Laugh, and Fall Break

Kate went on her first field trip earlier this month. At first I wasn't going to go on it, but a neighbor agreed to watch Lucy so I decided to go. It was much warmer this year, than when I went with Sari last year. Last year it had snowed quite a bit the night before we went and we were all in winter coats, snow boots, and gloves. This year Kate didn't even wear a jacket. Leah was thrilled to see a poster of Mickey and Minnie.
Of course Kate wouldn't wear the preschool shirt like the rest of her class. She is getting a little better about clothes lately though.

Yesterday, I finally realized that Lucy has been laughing for a while. Her laugh sounds like the beginning of a cry. It is pretty funny. I actually got a little chuckle out of her along with her laughing cry sound so I knew it was actually laughing. Silly baby. Kate was like that with laughing at first too. Her laughs sounded like grunting.

Kristin and I took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum last week on Thursday since Sari and Kate were out of school for Fall break. About halfway through Kate was not happy because she was "REALLY hungry!" That girl sure likes her snacks. The museum doesn't allow food and Kate acted like she was being tortured for the last half of the time. We still had fun though.

We met Scott and Cody for lunch after at JCW's. I sat next to Leah and Kate. It isn't the most relaxing way to eat for sure. Leah practically mauls you to death(with fry sauce fingers) and Kate was constantly whining about something. Scott made up for his peaceful mealtime sitting by Sari though, because he cleaned Lucy up after a blowout diaper situation. Never a dull moment with all these girls!
