Dannsairean Irish Dance Performances in March

Sari and Kate started an Irish Dance class in January.  In March, they had several performances - two at retirement homes, and one at the St. Patrick's Day festival downtown.  At one of the retirement homes they had a popcorn machine.  We were waiting for the performance to start and Leah asked if she could have some popcorn.  I told her we'd get some when we got home, and then continued on with the conversation I was having with one of the residents there.  I looked up 30 seconds later to see Leah headed towards the popcorn machine.  It happened in slow motion, I could tell before she got to the machine that she was going to hang on the bar attached to the machine.  I got up and started running, but was too slow.  She pulled the whole cart down on top of herself with popcorn spilling everywhere.  After I knew she was not seriously hurt, I was mortified.  I only took my attention off her for a second.  They tried to vacuum up the mess, but the vacuum just pushed the popcorn kernels around.
At the St. Patrick's Day Festival

Their teacher, Rebekah Rae, danced with them.

Watching the performance!  It was cold, but luckily a little warmer than it had been so it wasn't too bad.

Kate, waiting for performance time!  She was a little nervous.
Sari and Kate really love the dance class and performing.  They also danced at our ward talent show, their cousins' talent show, and they have a recital tomorrow they are excited for.
