Sari was baptized Saturday, October 12th, 2013. Grandma Pack, Aunt Kristin and Uncle Cody with Addie and Boston, and Uncle Travis and Porter all came to Montana to celebrate with us! They all stayed at our house. I thought it was really fun to have everyone here. They got here Thursday night and stayed till Monday. We went hiking on Friday, and bowling on Saturday before the baptism. The baptism started at 5pm. There was only one other little girl getting baptized from the stake that day. The baptismal font was really full. It seemed pretty deep when Sari got into it, she barely had to tip backward to get her head under. Scott baptized her and did the confirmation as well. Sari's old primary teacher, Riley Brinkerhoff, from before the ward split gave a talk as well as another lady in our ward, Sister Frewin. A couple of Sari's friends' moms gave the prayers. Our ward was in charge of getting all the talks, prayers, etc., they said it couldn't be family but wanted to know who to ask that Sari had some connection to. Sari says her favorite part about her baptism was going under the water.

We had dinner at our house after the baptism. Sari requested Hawaiian Haystacks. In addition to the family we had visiting from Utah, Scott's mom, Dan and Julane and their kids, Kirk and Marlayne and their kids, and Lana was also here visiting with some of her kids so they also came to the baptism and came to eat with us. Jill and Greg were out of town.
