Montana Fair

We went to the fair again this year.  I decided to skip the carnival rides during the day though.  I was quite happy about the decision.  The kids were in much better spirits not having walked around sweating all day before we went to see all the animals and displays.  Leah and Sari did make me promise that we would do them next year though, so I guess I'm on the hook for that. Scott was really into petting all the farm animals this time too.  I could barely get him away from them.  I prefer not to touch them, they make your hands too stinky.  Yuk.

 We got some yummy fair food, ice cream, cotton candy, some cinnamon scone like things, something called a cow pie that was a hamburger patty dressed and wrapped in a pastry of sorts.  Sari really was hoping for a funnel cake, but we were full and the line was too long when we were ready to leave.  I told her I'd make some at home - I still need to do that for her.
