December 2015

At the beginning of December Ian decided to start taking more steps.  He still would only run 6 or 7 steps before losing his balance and letting himself down to the floor to continue on crawling.  By the end of the month, however, he was walking everywhere as his main travel method of choice.

Our good friends, the Viets, moved to Texas at the beginning of December.  They had four girls close to our girls ages;  Lydia, Claire, Scarlett, and Hadley.  We were so sad to see them go!  This is the night before they flew to Texas.  Party at the Worthingtons'!
December wouldn't be complete without a handful of Christmas programs.  I got some video of Leah's but I don't seem to have a picture of her.  Maybe Scott got one.  I'll have to add a picture of hers later.  They did a little program about the gingerbread man, which was super cute!

Leah had fun drawing a million cute reindeer like this one all of December.

We spend a good part of one day making treats for our neighbors.
Our annual caroling trip around the zoo lights.  It was actually pretty warm this year.  I love when it isn't too cold.  A couple years ago it was below zero when we went.  That is just miserable I think.
