Ian was really happy about Daniel Tiger and the Trolley on his cake. Ian is a new experience for us. He is very different from his sisters. He throws everything he gets his hands on, flushes random items down the toilet, and is just generally hard to keep up with! We all love him and are constantly entertained! Ian loves to watch Daniel Tiger, Max and Ruby, and Little Bear. He loves his blankets and chocolate milk. Many times a day, he hands me a sippy cup or remote control trying to get what he wants. Sari is the quickest to turn the TV on for him so if she is available, he always goes to her first. He figured out how to manipulate his sisters when they are babysitting them and they aren't successful at putting him to bed anymore. We need to work that wrinkle out soon. He talks very well and speaks in short sentences. Sometimes he surprises us with what he knows. Last weekend he surprised me by counting to 9. The next day Scott hollered to me from the other side of the house that Ian had counted to 11 for him. Neither one of us knew that he could do that before! He's a great kid, and we're thankful for him.
Aunt Julane gave him a cowboy hat for his birthday.
