We started enjoying summer right from the start! We spent lots of days swimming with the Olsens at their house, driving around in our new power wheels dune cruiser, finding snakes and snake skins (yuk!), playing with play dough, and perfecting our flips and tricks off the diving board. All the girls started out in gymnastics at the beginning of the summer. By the end only Leah was left. Lucy quit early, and Sari and Kate switched over to tumbling which they really excelled at and enjoyed. Its cool to see how light on their feet they are. They can just flip all over the place!
Scott met his friends from High School one day for lunch this summer.
We had a lot of rattlesnakes around this summer. This one we found when Sari was mowing the lawn. Luckily it was already dead, it had gotten tangled up in our garden fencing. It was a pretty big snake, I'm glad I didn't find him alive when I was out picking. Sari mowed the lawn a lot this summer. It was such a great help, because Scott was super busy with work. Amelia would help out sometimes.
