Sari has never been good at picking up her own toys. I have never been able to get her to do it. I am working on changing that. Yesterday she wouldn't pick them up again so I picked them up for her. I just scoop them all up in a garbage bag and put them up on the freezer so she can't get to them for 24 hours or so. Sadly, Sari's baby dolls were in the group yesterday so Sari is making do with a naked barbie and a small rag rabbit bath toy. I am 'babysitting' them now and I am supposed to be reading the bunny a story. She is pretty specific with how I tend her babies. It's good the real dolls are coming back in a couple hours because they are much easier than barbie to hold in your arm while typing.

Now Sari found some clothes for the barbie. I put them on her but they won't fasten in the back. I told her it would be ok, to which she responded with her little attitude, "But everyone's going to the party momma, everyone's going to say, 'What in the world, look at her back!" I guess I should be glad she's concerned with modesty.
Another random thing I wanted to remember- Scott always tells Sari that the, "mink stink, and the skunk stunk," because we regularly smell those things around our neighborhood. Now when Sari smells either of them she says, "ewwww, it smells like munk out here!"
She's been pretty entertaining lately - at least to her parents.

That's a good idea for getting her to pick up her toys...I'll have to remember that. Owen does pretty good at picking up his toys, but I'm sure he will grow out of it. I will have to remember your trick!
My mom did the same thing when I was a kid. She called it her "mad bag" and I remember as a kid trying everything to convince her to give a toy back to me that she had put in that bag. We had to earn them back. It's a great idea.
