Temple Square

Friday we decided to take the kids to see Temple Square. On the way we stopped at The Cheesecake Factory. They were pretty good at the restaurant but Kate hates the car and doesn't really enjoy going anywhere that requires shoes and socks or being remotely confined. Needless to say, there was a bit more crying and whining involved than was enjoyable. Sari's favorite things were the shepherds and sheep in the nativity scene and the water fountains on the Main Street Plaza.

Temple Square is beautiful! Looks like you guys had a lot of fun...besides the car confinement with Kate. One of the girls in my little branch here just got her mission call to Temple Square...she is very excited! She is originally from Russia and speaks 3 or 4 languages. So maybe next time you are there...you'll see her! The story about your Laundry is so funny.

How fun...I would love to see the lights at Temple Square again...maybe someday. I don't think I ever appreciated them, as much as they should be appreciated, when I was young.
