State Fair

We went to the fair Monday night. The girls were thrilled with their balloon hats! We started off the afternoon on the rides. We bought wristbands for Sari and Kate and they sure made good use of them.

Leah had a rough time the first hour or so. She was super tired but doesn't go to sleep on the go(no sleeping easily in stroller or car). She cried for quite a while before I finally decided to try laying her on her stomach in the stroller. That did the trick after a couple of minutes. She really likes to sleep on her stomach and she was able to get a 20 minute cat nap that perked her up pretty well. She liked all the animals we saw.

The fair was really fun, , especially after Leah was happy too. It is actually pretty fun going anywhere as a family together. The kids get excited to be on any outing which makes everything more fun. I wish I would have taken a picture of our funnel cake - it was one of my favorite things. So yummy!
