Before Christmas Snow

All day last Tuesday Sari asked if I would go out to build a snowman with her. We never made it outside that day so I told her to ask Scott to make one with her while I went to YW's. He was a nice dad and went outside with the kids to build this:

Two days later, there was no sign of our snowman. It rained so much and was so warm all our snow melted. Which is why I was doubtful that we'd be able to go sledding as planned Thursday afternoon in Payson.

Luckily they got a lot more snow in Payson and there was still enough to sled.

I was surprised how much fun the girls had. Leah loved to ride the sled down and be pulled back up the hill sitting in it. Kate couldn't get enough and was really good to keep trekking back up the hill unassisted. I think they'll be ready for our next sledding adventure on New Years' Day.
