At my 20 week ultrasound the doctor found that our baby's umbilical cord only has 2 vessels, normally it should have 3. Sometimes a 2 vessel cord is associated with other more serious problems so I had to go for another ultrasound at the hospital in the maternal fetal medicine department a week later. Luckily, our baby looks great. She is measuring in the 20
th percentile which is still
ok, but because of the cord there is a small chance she could have growth issues. I go in for two more ultrasounds at 28 weeks and 34 weeks to make sure she is growing properly. I also start non-stress tests for her at 34 weeks and will have one every week until I am induced at 39 weeks, unless I go into labor sooner. :)

You know, I was number four girl in my family and I was the most angelic! =)How fun to have so many girls. Boys are overrated. =) Hope everything continues to go well.
Good luck with everything Becky! Glad to hear she is doing good so far!
Sorry to hear about the complications! Hopefully everything will go well and that you will have another beautiful, healthy baby girl! As much of a pain as the NST's can be...it is comforting to know that you are being watched closely. I start all those in less than a month too! We will keep you in our prayers!
