The morning of her birthday she opened her presents before Scott went to work. She was excited about her scooter!
Kate was also happy to get roller skates from Grandma and Grandpa Pack.
During the day of her birthday we made cupcakes and she and Sari went around the neighborhood sharing them with their friends. That evening we went to Chuck E Cheese's for some more birthday fun! Scott was so intent on winning the jackpot (200+ tickets) playing flaming finger for the kids, that he got a big blister on the tip of his index finger. He had to give up after that.Saturday night we had Ryan and Kris and their family over for dinner and cake and ice cream. Kate loves the Disney princess movies right now. Her favorite is Sleeping Beauty, followed closely by Snow White and Cinderella. I think it is so crazy because even as a kid, I thought those older princess movies were pretty boring. She loves them though.
Last night before going to bed, Kate said she couldn't go to sleep because she was too sad because she wanted to see her cousins every day.
I can't believe Kate is already 4. Some things about her:- She still loves milk and drinks tons of it every day.
- She likes to eat apples and sometimes eats the entire thing - core and all.
- She loves to jump on the trampoline.
- She likes to read books in bed before she goes to sleep.
- I have to convince her to try a lot of foods that she says she hates, after she tries them she always acts so surprised that she likes them.
- Still talks really cute.
- Loves to wear dresses and sleep in her nightgown every night.
