Family Reunion

We went to Driggs, Idaho last week for a week of family fun (and exhaustion). Scott's mom's side of the family all built a big lodge together on some of their parents property and we have the opportunity to use it a couple of weeks a year. It was quite the task packing and unpacking as it is getting harder and harder to move around easily. While I was packing I'd try to bend down to do something but end up just sitting on the floor. Then I wouldn't want to make the effort to stand back up for a while, so it took me a long time to pack. Eventually, we did get all packed and made it there Friday night(17th).

Here is a picture of all the grandkids lined up, minus Steven who is on his mission, and our baby (grandchild #30)still in utero. :)
On the 21st we drove to the Grand Teton National Park and it happened to be fee free day. That was a nice surprise. We went to Jenny Lake and most hiked to Hidden Falls. A few of us rode the ferry across the lake. Kate was one of the few, as she is not a very willing hiker. I rode the ferry as well, being 36 weeks pregnant. This picture is of Kate, thoroughly enjoying the ferry ride.

I did hike a little over a mile from the ferry drop off point, to hidden falls and back. That was far enough for me. Some man by the falls was quite concerned I was going to put myself into labor and among other things asked me how far away my doctor was located.

Sari has been counting down to the reunion for months now and had so much fun with her cousins. She loves nothing more than to be playing with them.

Greg and Jill brought a pinata for Brooklyn's birthday. The kids are all lined up to take a crack at it here.

We had a great time at the lodge! I did catch a cold, however, and am still trying to get over it. I'm feeling pretty worn out and there are still so many things I need to do in the two weeks before our baby comes. I hope I can get it all done!
