Busy Weekend

We were able to get out and do a lot of fun things this past weekend with Scott's family since they were visiting from Montana. On Friday they took Sari and Kate to This is the Place Heritage Park with them. That was a nice break for me and I even snuck in a nap! Saturday we went shopping at Cabella's and the BYU Bookstore. Then we went to Kneaders and got there right at 8 o'clock so we could get lots of their yummy desserts for 1/2 price! Their raspberry bread pudding is the VERY best. I love it. Sunday was Lucy's blessing and after we headed to Nephi to visit the cemetery where Scott's dad is buried. After we went to Payson to have dinner at Ryan and Kris's home. We stayed there too late - - we were getting pretty tired and sleep deprived at this point. Monday we went to Seven Peaks from 4pm - 8pm. I had a hard time deciding whether or not to go, but finally decided we could do it since my sister said she'd watch Leah for me. We had a great time, though it was a little tricky with Lucy but we managed and Scott's sister Julane helped out with her. Tuesday we went to the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was hot, but fun.

Thanksgiving Point Gardens

Our family picture minus Lucy. She was asleep in her car seat in the shade. I didn't want to get her out and wake her up - it was about time to feed her.
We kept Leah strapped in the stroller most of the time. At the end I let her out which ended up being a mistake, since we lost her. Julane noticed she was missing first and we all started looking for her. We were inside the building at the entrance of the Gardens when we lost her. Somehow she got back outside and was walking down the path. When I looked out the window looking for her a nice woman was carrying her back up the path. Luckily she wasn't lost for long. I guess the poor kid is going to have to be strapped into a stroller for the next year or so, , I also lost her for a minute at Wines Park last week when we were there at a big children's activity the city Library had put together.

Lucy, nice and shaded in her car seat.

We rented a golf cart and it seemed like all the kids were trying to see what it's maximum capacity was.

Cousins showing the united family support of BYU sports- unfortunately, I only have one child at any given time that will cooperate. Sari happened to be the one at this moment, , the other two were not willing to be in the picture.
We had a great time with our Montana visitors! I was thoroughly exhausted after but it was a great way to end our summer vacation.
