Halloween

We went to my parent's ward's truck-or-treat this year. It was on Saturday evening. We lined all the grand kids up for a photo shoot before we went.

The kids were actually a lot more helpful this year prepping their pumpkins for carving. Leah was even getting in on the action. Her shirt ended up very orange, but she was right at home playing in the slimy pumpkin mess. Lately, after she is done with a meal she plays with her leftover food. She usually makes it all into a ball or some other appetizing thing.

On Halloween morning I went to the elementary school to watch Sari in the parade. That evening we ate pizza with Kristin and Cody and then went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Travis and Jessica joined us with Porter for that as well. By the end of the night, Leah could barely carry her treat basket because it was so loaded down with candy. Kate wasn't feeling that great because of an ear infection so she got to ride in the stroller I brought for Leah a lot of the time. Leah was pretty funny because at almost every house she tripped at least once. She's not very experienced at walking in the dark!
