Monday, August 17th, we went to the fair. I went with Jill, Julane, and Marlayne and all the kids during the day. We got wristbands for all the kids and they rode a million rides from about 1pm-5pm. It was so hot. Kate started freaking out at one point because she had on pants that were jean material and too tight for her comfort. I had to sit her on a bench by me and let her pull them down and sit like that for a while. Then I took her and Leah to the air conditioned buildings and bought us a lemonade to share. She calmed down after that. Scott and the rest of the guys met us at the fair for dinner and we had pizza. Scott also brought Kate some capri's that she likes wearing. Then we walked around looking at the animals and crafts. It was fun, but next time I'm making sure Kate has on lightweight soft cotton shorts. :)
