Winter Visit to Utah

The kids had a few days off of school in February.  Valentine's Day was a half day so we headed to Utah as soon as they got out of school.  We rented a couple of the cabins in Fairview for the weekend.  It was nice and sunny as you can tell from the pictures.  Scott and I rented cross country skis and brought them along.  We were pleasantly surprised to see that they groom trails for cross country skiing all over the golf course which is pretty much right out the front door of our cabin.  It was perfect!

The Aftermath

Leah and Porter love to play with the marble track.  Leah is getting pretty feisty,
so she had a harder time getting along with all her cousins this trip.

We all got pretty sunburned the day we went sledding.  This is after we are back in
American Fork and all worn out. Everyone is just vegging with their various i-gadgets.
We were so hasty in getting back on the road after stopping in Rexburg to eat, we forgot to fill the van with gas.  Big oops.  We noticed when we were about 20 miles from Ennis and our fuel distance to empty said 15.  We drove on 0 dte for 5 miles - we were really sweating it, but made it to the gas station safe and sound!
