Christmas!

Sari and Kate came into our bedroom at 7:30 to wake us up.  That was a great time to start our Christmas day.  In past years, they haven't woke up till 8:30 or 9.  Here they are waking up Leah.
This Christmas included Razer Motor Scooters, a jewelry box, an American Girl doll, a cabbage patch doll, play cash registers, and games among many other things.

Leah was SO excited for EVERY single gift.  She was so much fun.  She literally jumped up and down after she opened every present.

We were trying to get a good picture with all of us but Kate wouldn't look at the camera.  Scott got after her which is why she looks mad in the picture.

To prove it didn't last long, I took a picture of her with Scott right after.

It was so nice to have Christmas in our own house with our own little family.  It was so relaxing and great.  I made butterscotch sticky buns, and we had scrambled eggs with them.

After our busy, crazy, holiday weeks we took it easy on New Years' Day.  We kept to ourselves and went to The Pizza Ranch for lunch.  The girls LOVED it.  I actually really like it too, but they were on their VERY best behavior and enjoyed themselves.  Half the time when we take them out to eat, they act like it's torture.  We will have to go there again soon.  It is nice to go to a place where they don't have to wait for their food.
