Memorial Day Hike

On Memorial Day, we went on a hike with Scott's family.  It started at East Rosebud Lake and ended at another lake, Elk Lake ( I think that's the name).  Scott had run 13 miles earlier in the day so he stayed with the little kids, his mom, and Greg and Brooklyn(who wasn't feeling well) and Kate decided to do the shorter hike with him too.  Sari and I went with everyone else on the full 6.5 mile hike.

A lot of us waded in the lake at the end.  It was super cold.  A few brave souls, including Whitney and Tanner decided to take the plunge and submerge themselves.  Sari dipped her head in the water too.  It gave her a brain freeze.  It was really fun to go hiking, I just wish there were some good mountains a little closer to Billings.
