Here is one of the many nights when we arrived home with a car load of sleeping children. It was past 11pm most nights when they were getting to bed.
Playing dress ups at Aunt Jill's house one day.
We went boating at Cooney Reservoir Tuesday evening. When we got there it was pouring rain, luckily we waited for 20 minutes or so and it cleared up enough to get out on the water. Greg's boat wasn't working right so we just towed a tube around every once in a while for a short ride, then let the kids swim in the water. Scott was on Dan's boat with all our kids and on the last tube ride they had a major flip. Scott, Sari, Brenna, Kate, Leah, Amy, and possibly one more kid were riding on the tube when they hit some waves Dan wasn't expecting. It flipped the tube and scared the kids and hurt Scott. He hit his head pretty hard and had a big cut on his lip and loose front teeth. Kate was still crying after she was back on shore. I'm interested to see if she and Leah will be more timid about riding the tube next time we go out.
Friday night, we went to Woodbine Campground to hike and have tinfoil dinners. Scott had to work late so we didn't get there until it was time for dinner. We brought all our camping stuff so we could stay overnight. The rest of Scott's family left around 10pm.
The girls were all about catching caterpillars. There were a lot around.
