February - Part II

February was filled with school parties.  Lucy got to go to White Aspen Ranch for her Valentine's Day party and ride a pony and a horse.  She had snacks after and they passed out their valentine's.  I have really liked doing a preschool coop with each of my girls.  Hopefully when Ian is preschool age, I'll be able to find some people to do one for him too.
This year, I volunteered in Kate's class for her party.  Last year I had helped at Sari's (I had to remind her).  They had minute to win it games and Kate stacked her cups really quick!  I like to go into their classrooms so I know who the kids are that they talk about.  It is nice to see how the teacher is with the kids during the school day too.

The kids had a few days off around Valentine's Day.  We went to a park on their early out day.  This is Sari with her best friend Amelia.  They would never leave the other's side if they could.  They are on the same softball team this season so that should be fun.  Sari is over at Amelia's or Amelia is here for dinner multiple times every week.  My girls have made so many great friends in the ward and neighborhood.  We also went to the zoo during their break.  It was pretty nice weather but windy.  Ian does not enjoy being outside in the wind.
Watching his first basketball game with Daddy!  Scott doesn't have much time to watch sports these days.  He's so busy with work, but sometimes he can fit it in!  I don't like when a game is on at night and his team loses.  Scott can't wind down after to go to bed and ends up staying up way too late!
This month we moved Ian into his own crib in his own room!  Lucy traded in her "daybed" for a new toddler bed I bought at Walmart.  She and I assembled most of it without Scott's help!  We also put together a new bike for her this month.  Lucy moved into Leah's bedroom with her.  It has been going pretty well.  Sometimes they like to talk and play more than sleep, but as long as we don't have to get up too early in the morning, I figure it's good for them to have that time together.
Ian tags along with us on most of our dates.  We went to an Indian restaurant this night.  The booth bench I was sitting on had a heat vent right under it.  It felt like I had a seat warmer!  It was so warm under the table.  I was loving it!
