Kate's birthday marks the end of the birthday party rotation. This past year each kid (except Lucy since she was only turning 3) got to have a friend party. Next year we are not doing friend parties. I'm sure we'll still be doing something involving their one or two best friends, but no big party planning and throwing. Kate's party was from 6:30-8:30 on a Friday evening. She had a friend that had her birthday party that afternoon so we changed our time so both could happen the same day. We had pizza, rootbeer floats, made balloon stress balls, played the dice/candybar game and pop the balloon tied to your ankle game. Kate had a good time, so it was a success.

I love these pictures of Kate because they show her current hairstyles of choice. She loves her purple beanie and wears it every chance she gets. She is still wearing it often even in 90 degree weather. She also loves to wear headbands like the blue one in her party pictures over her hair all the way around. I sometimes try to influence her to change it up a little but she is pretty insistent about it. She wants a hat or a headband and her hair blow dried flipped out.
May 11, 2015 Birthday Morning
Presents from Grandma Pack. She has been using her skates all the time. Next week I'm taking the girls and their friends to the skating rink.
