Annual Table Rock Hike

This year we brought Sari along with us on the big hike.  I wasn't entirely sold on the idea, but Greg really wanted his girls to go so he encouraged them to come.  I kept telling Sari that it was going to be hard, and if she came she better be fully committed.  She did really well.  This year we were at the lodge a little later in the summer so almost all the snow was gone so instead of fields of cold wet whiteness to get through we got to wander through fields full of wild flowers.  It was beautiful and much easier hiking at the end.

Sari's legs were pretty tired for the last steep mile down.  She fell several times and her hands and back got all scraped up.  It is really steep, I usually fall or nearly fall on the way down at least once.  I think she was happy she came and I know she was proud to have hiked all the way to the top and back.
