We went to Dan and Julane's house for the traditional Christmas Eve party complete with an assortment of soups. On the way there we were able to see Santa fly overhead! We chased him down with our van for a minute and he flew RIGHT over us. That was pretty exciting. He was on his way to deliver in other parts of the world where it was later.
The kids performed the Nativity for us. Sari got to be Mary this year. Don't mind baby Jesus - Lydia was supposed to fill that role, but Steve and Candace left early to go visit her family. We had to improvise.
Whitney took the other pictures for me. I got the one below with my cell phone so it isn't the greatest picture. Kate is on the left as a shepherd.
