Kid Quotes
Today has not been a good computer day. It took me 4 hours to figure out how to get my iphone pictures onto the computer. I have never had a problem before. I think my old iphone is about ready to retire. Anyhow, I was looking through the notes on my phone the other day and I'm not sure which ones I have already blogged about and I tried to look it up, but once again the computer keeps showing an error when I try to look at old blog posts. I'm just going to include all the quotes that I'm not sure are on here. It's better to double up than to miss them I think!
Starting with the most recent and working back in time:
Leah asked me, "Are you going to watch the good run?" I was confused for a minute and said, "You mean The Amazing Race?"
Lucy used to say, "paaaaaker nakin!" in a sing-song voice whenever she needed a napkin at meal time. She still always asks for a napkin, but now usually she just grunts and gestures towards the paper towels until someone realizes what she wants. I liked the old way better.
Leah had a side-ache and said, "I have a side headache!"
Leah and Lucy used to say thingers (fingers) and maked (naked). I just tested Lucy though and she says both things correctly now. :( That makes me a little sad.
One of the girls said, "Make sure you don't leave your popsicle stick outside." Lucy said, "ya, because that's glittering."
Lucy saw a piece of litter outside just a couple days ago and said someone had glittered. I'm glad she still has some things mixed up. It's just so cute.
I may have already blogged this one because it was 2 years ago-
Kate said, "You remember that oatmeal you used to give us that makes us run fast??"
I had to think for a minute, "Zoom?"
"Ya!"
One more story- The other night I told Leah not to come in my room and wake me up in the night or early in the morning. She had been making a habit of it. The next morning I heard my door squeak open but when I looked, no one was there. A while later I thought I heard something, so I called out Leah and Lucy's names - nothing. I continued to hear things sporadically and finally I said, "Who is in here!!!?" Out came Leah from under our bed. Hopefully she learned she shouldn't do that again!
