Book Club Trip!!

I got to go on a trip with my Utah book club girls at the beginning of March!  It was super fun, but we missed three of our members who weren't able to make it.  Jen's parents had been in a horrible motorcycle accident, Jen's Dad passed away shortly after our trip.  Her mom is doing remarkably well in her recovery.  Corin's son was getting his mission call while we were away and she didn't want to miss that, and Kim had a music festival that her kids were in and was also going out of town shortly after so didn't want to leave twice, I think.

We were able to go out to eat at lots of yummy places!  The Shake Shack was really good, and I'll be craving that until I can go again!  We also went to Serendipity for dessert one day, Babycakes for breakfast one morning, and went to The Capital Grille for a nice dinner one night and we had a very entertaining server.  We went to the M&M's factory, the Coke factory, the Bellagio Conservatory, saw Michelagnelo's David at Ceasar's Palace, ate crepe's at The Paris, and went to see a show (Ka by Cirque Du Soleil), watched the fountains at the Bellagio, among just enjoying each other's company.  We watched a few movies, sat in the hot tub, and played a few games (though some of those got a little heated at some points).  We also went on a tour of the Hex chocolate factory.  It was a great trip and I'm so happy Scott didn't mind picking up the slack and managing all the kid stuff while I was gone!
