Nursery Official - Ian at 18months+

Ian is almost 19 months old now!  Time goes by so fast.  He has a fun personality - but is always on the go!
His favorite thing to say is, "Let's go!" as he runs to the door.  He wants to be outside any chance he gets.  He used to just start to run as far as he could when I let him outside, but he's started to be better about staying in the yard.  He has discovered the sandbox and will spend a good amount of time in that before he moves on to something else.
He climbs onto the bar stools now and likes to sit there to eat with his sisters.  He actually usually ends up standing on the island instead.  We learned he likes to throw anything left there onto the floor.  Last week he shattered a bowl and Lucy's Kindle screen throwing them off the island.  He has stopped playing in the toilet as much, so that's a win.
He likes to climb onto the couch with his big sisters to watch a show with popcorn.  He lasts about 5 or 10 minutes.  He also gives great cuddles and kisses and loves bathing.
We have tried taking him to nursery, but he usually just cries.  It is at about 2pm, so he is really ready for a nap.  Scott usually takes him and after 10 minutes or so takes him for a drive and he has a little catnap before Scott goes to Elders' Quorum.  Hopefully he'll figure out how to stay in nursery before too long.  He just really loves his afternoon nap.
It is definitely different having a little boy.  When we go swimming at the Olsen's house he doesn't really want to stay in the water, he thinks throwing rocks and anything else he can get his hands on into the water is the best fun.  It is sure tiring chasing him around trying to keep everything out of the pool.

He gets to come on at least one run a week with me.  It makes my neck and shoulders really tight to have to push the stroller so I try to go when I don't have to take him most of the time.  This day we went 8 miles and he got bored and fell asleep.
This is what I see when I shower and get ready for the day, if I haven't let him into the bathroom with me.  He shoves things under the door.
