Sari's Birthday!

September 24th, Sari's birthday!  I can't believe she's 11 years old.  Sari still loves to be with friends every second that she can.  For her birthday she wanted to go to the trampoline place.  Scott took her, Amelia, Kate, and Abigail between soccer games on her birthday.  They had a blast and Scott said it was fun watching them bounce around like crazy.  It has been a good year with Sari.  She is very self-motivated in her school work and helping out at home.  She is also very easy to motivate to help out around the house if there is a promise of extra friend time.  She started playing the violin this year at school in the orchestra and seems to like it.  Amelia is still her best friend, but she's also been spending some time with a girl named Caden that lives near our house.  Sari and Kate are now to the point where we can read the same books and all enjoy them.  It is fun to read a book and pass it on to them.  We had a family party for Sari at Julane's house and joined in with Carson, Dallin, Lydia, Candace, and Colby!  It's a popular birthday date and week!  The first school day after Sari's birthday, Carson and Dallin went to Arrowhead and surprised her at lunch with Wendy's food and ate with her.  I'm sure she liked it but she gets pretty shy with extra attention like that.  I thought it was so fun of them to do that.  I'm sure she'll always remember that.  I asked her if she told them thank you and she wasn't very clear with her answer so I made sure to text them so they knew she appreciated it.  She does need to work on communicating even when she's a bit uncomfortable.
