Leah's Emergency Room Visit

On our way home from boating on Saturday, July 8th, Leah threw up.  She had complained a couple times during the day that her stomach hurt but I thought it was just being out in the sun and wind all day.  She got sicker and sicker until Sunday night (early Monday morning) she was in so much pain she was just begging us to make it stop.  She was continuously vomiting through all this too.  She wasn't able to sleep all night so Scott and I decided to take her to the ER.  Scott took her because I didn't really want to go to the ER at 2am myself.  The doctor there thought she would be going in for an appendectomy based on her symptoms but they did a ct scan and everything looked ok on it.  They gave her morphine and zofran and sent us home with a prescription of zofran and that's how we survived the next couple days.  Once Leah starts throwing up, it seems hard for her body to get out of that cycle.  She was completely better within two days but some of her siblings followed.  There's a picture of Kate on Saturday taking her turn with that darn bug.  The sunrise picture is around 5:15am when I was driving to the ER to trade Scott because he was headed to scout camp at 6am that morning.  That was a rough way to start scout camp!
