Barnyard Boo Backfire

All day Friday I told Sari she would get to ride a pony. She asked at least every hour to make sure it was true. I kept reassuring her that it was. That was a mistake. When we finally went that afternoon it was so crowded we had to stand in line 30 minutes just to make it up to pay the admission. When I talked to the lady at the front I realized it was going to be $18 for us to go instead of the $6 I expected. Well, so it was going to be a lot more money than I thought, , oh well. But then I asked her how the lines for all the activities were. "Oh, they are HORRENDOUS, and the line for pony rides is a 1-2 hour wait." Great. . . now what to tell Sari. I'm not paying $18 to wait in lines all night. We ended up going in the canyon instead. I don't even think Sari is scarred for life. She hasn't mentioned ponies this whole week.

So where's Barnyard Boo? I would have opted for the canyon too...some of these little activities are insanely priced for what they are worth. I had to giggle at your baby sitting duties...just keep putting the toys in time out ~ It really works (atleast it did for Autumn.)

It tooks like your time at the canyon was fun at least...at lot more fun than waiting in a long line! I think you made the right decision for sure.
