First Time Birthday Girl

I really can't believe Leah is already one. It's crazy how time can move so quickly. Leah is so sweet. She still hasn't learned how to come down the stairs on her own. If I set her in the middle of them, she can scoot down but I still haven't taught her how to start down them on her own. Every time I go up the stairs intending to show her how to do it, she holds her arms out and wraps them around my neck and walks into my lap to have me carry her down. I really love it, so who knows how long it will be before she learns. :)

I took her to get her pictures taken on Thursday. After the session, we were looking at the pictures on the computer and the photographer asked me if Leah is always so good natured to play contently. I told her she is when she gets the chance to be free of her hovering sisters. She does love them, but sometime they don't know when she just needs a little space!

Scott noticed today that if you ask Leah a question she will nod her head. He kept asking question after question because it was so cute.
