We actually made it to the top! It was a miracle. Last time we hiked Kate was a trooper and Sari said she would be good and hike herself so I thought it would be a pleasant outing. Well, this time Kate wouldn't hike, she started to collapse on the trail telling me she couldn't walk after less than one fifth of the way up. Since Scott had Leah in the carrier on him, I got to piggy back Kate up the trail. We traded kids on the way down - I carried Leah and Scott had Kate. My calves are still quite sore and we hiked it on Friday afternoon.

It was a very bright day. I started wishing it wasn't quite as nice of a day since I was sweating so much carrying Kate up the trail.

Luckily, Sari did do VERY well on the hike and Leah seemed to really like it too.
