I'm a little late posting this, but Scott and Lucy had a birthday July 12th. Lucy is so fun to have around. She is so social and pretty entertaining to watch. Each week someone different tells me how they enjoyed watching Lucy and the other girls during Sacrament Meeting. We are still a distraction but it's getting better. They are pretty good for the most part. :) Lucy is really busy and constantly exploring. She isn't interested in any television shows, she never sits still long enough to watch any. It's good I have her older sisters to entertain her sometimes so I can shower and get a few other things done. She still takes a good afternoon nap so that is a nice break too. One of Lucy's very favorite people is her Uncle Kirk. During Sacrament Meeting if she catches a glimpse of him she runs off in his direction. It is actually pretty handy when he and Marlayne entertain her for a while during Sacrament Meeting. Lucy still loves to drink milk in her bottle any chance she gets. I need to think about switching to sippy cups. I think I'll wait until our last road trip to Utah is done. When Lucy sees my phone she grabs it then thrusts it at me and asks (or rather demands), "a game on." She hasn't figured out how to start the games she likes but she can play them pretty well once I start them for her. She is a great eater like the other girls, though she won't eat sandwiches very well. She thinks she's just as old as her sisters and does her best to keep up with them! She's a little cutie and we all love her like crazy!

After Lucy blew out the candles on her cake, we gave Scott a turn to blow out candles on his own cake. She was excited to help her Daddy. |

Sari convinced Lucy she wanted a butterfly cake, so I made our traditional chocolate birthday cake and put these cute butterflies on it! |
