I am really enjoying my summer with these girls. They can be a handful sometimes, and often I'm playing referee more than I'd like, but summer has been really fun. I think I'm also finally adjusting to living in Billings. It might help that it's finally nice weather and we've lived in our house long enough that everything is in its place for the most part. After our landscaping is done it will only bet better.
I'm also excited about a big boundary change for the Billings Stake we are in. It sounds like there will be some major changes and a few new wards created. I am hoping that several of the girls from the Shiloh ward that I have gotten to know pretty well will be in my ward now. I think that they will be and I'm really excited. I will be really disappointed if none of them are, but we'll find out in less than a week now.
When we aren't on vacation somewhere our average summer week goes like this: Monday I usually try and get a bunch of stuff done and the kids do pretty well entertaining themselves playing with neighbor kids and probably watching a few too many shows on the ipad. Tuesday we go to two different playgroups and dance so we leave the house by 9:45 or so and don't get home till 3:30. Wednesday we go to Lake Elmo with some of the playgroup moms and kids. Thursday or Friday we usually see Jill and her girls and swap a few kids for play dates. Whichever day the kids don't play with their cousins they go and visit Grandma Worthington. They have been having a good time with her and they usually will help her with something and she always has a treat or trip to Wendy's or the dollar store as a reward.
Scott and I have been really busy working on our landscaping which seems like a never ending project. At this point I swear we'll never be done. Hopefully we'll get sod before the snow starts flying! We've been even busier the last week because we've been trying to get everything done before we leave for another trip to Utah. Scott has also been super busy with SitePro stuff and has a couple of opportunities for Civil Engineering design work on the side. Life is good and busy.
