Trip to Utah - Part 2

Friday, 21st, we went to the pond in Cedar Hills to let the kids swim and play in the sand.  My mom and Kristin came and we also took Porter with us.  We ate a picnic there and stayed until early afternoon.  I went and put Lucy down for a nap and my mom went to be with my Grandpa.  Later after I visited my grandpa again, Kristin and I took all the kids, including Porter, to a movie at the theater in American Fork. Porter was hard to keep track of until we got sitting down in the theater.  It was also a trick getting all the kiddie popcorn and soda.

Saturday morning we got all packed up and headed to the lodge in Driggs, ID.  It was really nice getting to see my grandpa several times while we were visiting.  You could tell he was really communicating and receiving instruction from those on the other side of the veil.  Sometimes he would answer questions out loud and he'd try to explain things to us.  He sometimes said there weren't words to describe what he was experiencing.  He also expressed that he was communicating without speaking and you were able to have a lot more understanding that way.  It was so interesting to watch his face as he was having this experience.  His eyes would sometimes get a faraway glazed look and he wouldn't be paying attention to what was happening on this side of the veil, then after a while he'd refocus and his eyes would be clearer and he'd focus on your face and maybe talk to you.  Grandpa passed away peacefully early Sunday morning after we were at the lodge with Scott's family.  We'll miss him!
