Summer Trip 2 to Utah

I'm playing catch up on my blog because right after I returned home from this trip to Utah, we hit the landscaping work hard.  Let me tell you, it was a TON of work, a ton of time, and a ton of energy.  I'm still trying to recover.  We got our sod in on Thursday (the 12th) and still have a few minor things to get done but are taking a breather for a minute.  Ok, back to this trip-

Scott and I drove straight to Fairview to camp with my family to start this trip.  It made the long road trip even longer but we had a great time camping.  Scott had to leave on Saturday evening though, so he could get a ride back to Billings with Dan and Julane.  We were at Skyline Mountain Resort from Wednesday-Sunday.  The girls and I stayed at my parents' house after that until the following Saturday.  As usual, we packed in as many fun activities as we could.

We went to Tibblefork with Lisa and Kim and their kids.  It was a little chilly and Leah and Lucy made a HORRIBLE mess with the mud.  It was the really black stain everything variety.

Also during the trip I fit in a run and a workout at the amphitheater with Lisa, shopping at the outlets, a day at 7 Peaks, Sari slept over two nights at Ryan and Kris', the Thanksgiving Childrens' Garden with Kristin and her kids, bookclub!, going through stuff at my grandparent's home, swimming at the lindon pool, and I ended it off by driving back to Billings with the kids by myself.  I had a few books on CD that were fun to listen to and the kids did AWESOME!  Had I known the landscaping fun that awaited me at home I may never have left.
