Fall Break at the Lodge

We went to the lodge in Driggs, ID, over the kids' school break, October 16th-20th.  It was beautiful!  The weather was a little chilly, but mostly sunny and dry so we went out every day for a walk, hike, or jog.  The kids played outside a lot.  I really miss being close to mountains like we were in Utah.  It was nice to go there to be close to mountains and to see all the fall colors.  Scott brought his laptop and worked a little while we were there.  He feels like he is always playing catch-up with work right now.  It was a nice little getaway for him too though.  The one unfortunate thing was that Lucy was sick when we went there.  She had croup and then gave it to Leah and possibly a few cousins too.  :(  They were really sick.  A very high fever and coughing and labored breathing up a lot in the night.  We had to take Leah outside in the cold night air to help open her airways so she could breath.  She's sit up in the middle of the night panicking because she felt like she couldn't breath.  One of the days Leah and Lucy made me hold them the ENTIRE day.  It also happened to be the day that Scott worked the most so I was mostly on my own.  That day wasn't as fun, but Leah felt a little better after that day so wasn't quite as clingy.  It was still a fun trip, it's just too bad the little ones were sick.
Sari, Kate, and Olivia came on a walk with me one afternoon.

One of our runs-  Bailey (Dan's dog), followed us on this one.
