We got to go to Utah this year for Thanksgiving. It is all a little bit of a blur now that we've also been through the Christmas celebrations too. I needed to get this posted a little sooner, but everything was so busy! Thanksgiving was late this year, and Christmas came and went so fast! On our drive home from Utah I got some good cyber Monday deals for Christmas. It took half the drive though, because we drove through Wyoming to miss a storm and the data service was almost non existent. Ok - now for some low quality pictures! (I took my small camera on the trip with us and its picture quality was worse than I remembered.)

We took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo one day. They all ran around like mad and loved it. All their little faces are red. |
On Saturday after Thanksgiving we went on the Polar Express in Heber. You ride the train for 30-45 minutes while a couple of elves give you hot chocolate and cookies while entertaining a little bit, then you get to the North Pole and see Santa waving outside. The train then turns around and Santa has boarded and comes around talking to all the children and hands out a magical jingle bell. The kids loved it. It was a little pricey, so that may be their one experience of the Polar Express.
We stayed busy while we visited. We took the kids to see Frozen on Thanksgiving day, and the adults went to the newest Hunger Games movie another day. We also got to go visit Lisa one morning and I got to sit in her kitchen talking with her while she made pies. It's really one of my favorite things to do. Before we went to Lisa's that morning we made a trip to the dentist. I'm happy to report there were no cavities! It was a great trip, and the weather cooperated pretty well for our drive both ways!
Oh I can't forget to include a picture of Kate loving on McKai. The girls all LOVED him and fought over whose turn it was to hold him the entire time we visited.
