Our Handsome Little Ian!

 One of my friends took Ian's newborn pictures.  He didn't enjoy it - he did not enjoy being undressed.  He really loves being all bundled up and cozy in clothes and blankets.  I actually went to her house two days in a row to try to get more pictures after the first time was less successful.  We ended up getting some cute shots and we got one where it appears that he's sleeping.  I really love sleeping newborn pictures so I'm glad there was at least one good one with his eyes closed.

Lucy got to have her 3 year old picture taken too.  (A few months late.)

 

Leah and Kate in particular can't help themselves from cuddling Ian all the time!

10 days old

From the second he was born, Ian hasn't enjoyed light in his eyes.  He can really scrunch up his face to try and block it out!

2 weeks old

The first time Ian slept in the night for a good stretch of time he was 10 days old.  He slept for 6 hours before waking up to nurse.  Ian’s sisters love him so much.  Leah and Kate especially love to hold him and calm him down when he is fussy.  Sari is a great help too.    He has been fussy every evening which is hard because Scott has been working a lot, so it is nice his sisters help me with that until they go to bed.  Ian hates to get his diaper or clothes changed.  He screams the entire time.  He has been a harder baby than his sisters were but we love him oh so much!
