In Between Vacations...

We traveled a lot during the month of July.  Here are a few of the happenings in between all our travels:
Sari and Kate are very helpful feeding Ian for me when I need them to.  They are pretty neat about it too.  I left them with a babysitter a couple of weeks ago and when I got home I couldn't believe the amount of food on his high chair, bib, clothes, etc.  It was a huge mess!  They do better than a 14 yr old babysitter for sure.

We made several trips to Costco all together over the summer.  Towards the end I got tired of all the comments I would get- some good, some not so good, but you can't ever get through a store with 5 kids in tow unnoticed (which is how I prefer it).  I have increasingly been feeling as summer has progressed (and now ended) that 5 kids is a good number and I'm pretty sure I don't want to try to handle any more kids than I already have.  It's hard just trying to fit all the food and supplies we need in the cart for our family of 7 even when I kick all the kids out of the cart to make room!

We went to a concert at St. John's one night.  Brenna was visiting from Utah so she came too.

Lucy got to open her present from Grandpa and Grandma Pack early because we were going to be at the lodge on her birthday.  She got a 10ft diameter pool.  The kids have loved that this summer.
