We braved the Arrowhead Elementary Family Halloween party this year. I have avoided it the last couple years because it can be REALLY crowded. It didn't seem too bad this year really. I guess I was just in the right mindset. Of course the kids all LOVE it. Next year I may just drop Sari and Kate off because they'll be in 5th and 4th grade, so I think they'll be old enough to handle it on their own. On second thought though, Leah will be in 1st grade there so I think I'm committed to go. Also, it will be their last year at Arrowhead before moving to Boulder Elementary so that's another good reason to go.
Sari, Lydia, and Amelia at the party. We just said goodbye to Lydia and her family last night. They moved to Texas. We are all so sad to see them go.
This year, our ward had the primary program practice, followed by a chili cook off, and then trunk or treating after that. It was a packed activity. Here's a shot of the girls, Leah-witch, Lucy-puppy dog, Sari-mouse, Kate-Elsa, and Ian our little dragon!
I got to go to Lucy and Leah's Halloween parties at school too. Lucy is showing off her spiderweb snack and Leah is decorating a sugar cookie.
