Halloween this year was on a Monday. We went to the Combs for a chili dinner before trick-or-treating. Our friends that all live in Copper Ridge were there too the Ekmans, Kidds, and Christensens. This year we had a cat (conjoined sometimes with Amelia), an emergency room doctor, sleeping beauty, a puppy, and a little monster(appropriately). We came back to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat with the Olsens. It was super windy when we started but after a little while it calmed down and then the temperature was pretty nice. We covered a lot of ground and it seemed like the neighborhood didn't have many other kids around. We were trying to decide why and I think it was because of the wind early on and then because it was a school night. Anyhow, at the end people were giving them handfuls of candy. The week after Halloween was a little rough with the steady diet of sugar. All of the girls seemed a little more emotional and dramatic. Lucy and Leah were grounded from their candy the week after that and it went much better.
