Family Life in November 2016

Kate was waiting for me to help her practice the piano one afternoon and fell asleep right there.
We had a pretty warm November this year.  I was able to take Ian jogging in the stroller a couple of times.  He loves his puppy hat and gloves.
There was a super moon this month.  Lucy is riding her bike to Grandma's house.
Ian got his flu shot and a vaccination at his 2 year old check-up.  That night he drank out of Leah's water bottle and she had a killer cold at the time.  I knew it was coming and sure enough Ian came down with a fever the next morning and the cold symptoms weren't far behind.  He was pretty sick, the poor kid.  We did get away without an ear infection this time so I was relieved about that!
Sari and Kate helped Scott put Christmas lights on the roof.  I am glad they can be his helpers now.  I get so cold doing it!

Sari and Kate were able to sing in The Nutcracker at the Alberta Bair Theater this year.  It was just a small part accompanying the orchestra for one song, but it was a fun experience.  We got tickets for half price and I really enjoyed going.  Leah and Lucy came to the first half and then Greg picked them up and brought them home to a babysitter and then Kate and Sari took their seats after their singing part was over.  Sari said she wants to see the whole show next year.
