Leah's 7th Birthday!

Happy Birthday Leah!!  Leah is full of life.  At 7 years old, Leah is still our crafty kid.  She always has a project in mind that she needs to create.  She is frequently requesting different supplies to make her crafts possible.  She and Lucy get along best after bedtime when they're supposed to be going to sleep.  The other night they were still going strong playing cards and making bracelets at 12:30am!  For her birthday she wanted to go to the movies with her sisters and some friends.  We went to Trolls and Charlotte Zitto and Angelica Olsen were able to come with us!  Leah is sad she isn't going to be in the same school as Charli next year.  They are best buddies in Mrs. Pinter's class this year.  Leah is always happy to see me and loves to hug and cuddle.  She is a great reader and loves books about animals and nature.  One of her books talked about acorns and so the next day she begged me to take her out to find some acorns.  We were successful at finding some under the oak trees at the temple!  Leah is also very helpful.  This year she has a service Christmas chain and each day she conscientiously completes the helpful task listed on the link.  It's been great!

Leah is easy to buy presents for.  She is absolutely thrilled with anything!  Consequently, she always wants everything she sees.  Ha!

Leah and Ian had a joint family birthday party and cake on Ian's birthday, Sunday the 8th.  Their cake was a cookie dough ice cream cake.  It was yummy but next time I'd half the cake part and put the cookie dough between the cake and ice cream instead of on top.
